Because we use Shopify for our online store, it's a royal pain to apply discounts at checkout, so bear with me for a minute. (Beer with me?) The following is our slate coaster pricing: Buy 1 to 3 coasters they are $10.00 each. Buy 4 to 7 Coasters the price drops to $6.00 each. Buy 8 or more coasters and the price plumets to just $5.00 each! (Shipping and tax are additional)
Whether you are buying 1 coaster, 8 coasters or 100 coasters, highlight the "Buy 8 or more coasters for our best discount!" radio button. 8 drop down boxes will appear where you can select the different coasters you are wanting. The price (see above) will adjust according to the number of coasters you purchase. No, this shouldn't be rocket science but this is the best way we have found to add discounts to products using Shopify. Hopefully this makes sense. Send us an email if you have questions.
